Are the machines insured?

Yes. The machines are insured against the usual risks: motor third-party liability for the trailer and comprehensive (CASCO) cover where applicable. In addition, every rental includes insurance of RON 40/day, which is mandatory and included in the price calculation.

The customer remains liable for:

the insurance excess, up to the limit communicated at booking;
damage caused by negligent use, use not in accordance with the operating manual, or in circumstances that exclude compensation (alcohol, missing required documents, technical modifications);
theft of the machine, if reasonable measures to secure the site were not taken.

Because the machine is operated by our operator, the risk of damage from incorrect manoeuvres is significantly lower than with self-drive hire. The machine’s condition is checked on handover and on return and recorded in the handover report.
